Chris Young, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer:
Chris is the Chairman & CEO of Digital Broadcasting Group, overseeing all aspects of the company's operation. In 1999, Chris co-founded Klipmart and built it into the nation's largest provider of online video advertising and management solutions. In June of 2006, under Young's leadership, Klipmart was purchased by now Google-owned DoubleClick. At Doubleclick, Chris held the role of Executive Vice President of Rich Media and Emerging worldwide, working to accelerate innovation in digital video and emerging advertising formats.
Joseph Gomes, Founder and Chief Creative Officer:
Joseph oversees all creative at DBG and leads DBG’s custom ideation group that specializes in brand integration within our partners’ shows. He is responsible for working with creative producers, A-list talent, and collaborating with ad agencies to conceptualize, identify, develop and bring to life DBG projects. Prior to DBG, Joseph produced and wrote shows for VH1, A&E, History Channel, TruTV, Food Network, MTV, Discovery Channel, Starz Media, Fox Television Studios, New Line Cinema and HDNet.
Gregg Backer, Founder & Executive Producer:
Gregg is responsible for the management of all DBG productions. An expert at project managing multiple productions and working with talent of all kinds, Gregg has built up original programming for network and cable television. Over the last three years, Backer has produced shows for A&E, VH1, MTV, E! Entertainment, Court TV, Starz! Network, Fox Television Studios, HBO, ESPN, Lions Gate Home Video, and the Style Network. Gregg worked at HBO Sports for ten years where he was recognized with an Emmy and Ace Award for his documentary work, including his acclaimed portrait of boxing great Sonny Liston.
Rick Kleczkowski, Chief Operating Officer:
Rick is the COO of DBG, spearheading services inclusive of Account Management and Operations, Product & Technology, Finance, Administration and HR. Previously, Rick was VP, N.A. Rich Media and Video Sales at DoubleClick where he managed a team of 25 and was responsible for sales team integration post Doubleclick acquisition of Klipmart. Prior to DoubleClick, Rick ran sales and business development for Klipmart, joining in 2003. Before joining Klipmart, Rick was with Omnicom’s AGENCY.COM, in New York as Senior Director, Business Development and 24/7 Media, Inc. as Senior Director, Business Development.
Damon Bethel, EVP of Business Development & Strategic Planning:
Damon is the EVP of Strategic Planning and Business Development at DBG. He is responsible for stewarding DBG’s distribution channels and has been one of the principles in establishing and growing DBG’s portfolio of video ad publisher partners’. Damon oversees the development and deployment of DBG’s proprietary video distribution and measurement platform while also expanding DBG’s strategic partnerships with premium publishers and key technology partners. Prior to DBG, Damon served as Digital Director at MediaVest, leading the development of strategy for Coca-Cola’s portfolio of brands across all digital media touchpoints. Prior to joining MediaVest in 2006, Damon oversaw the opening of the New York office of San Francisco-based agency Real Branding. He was also a founding partner of EarthQuake Media. Damon got his start on the Young & Rubicam New York Media team and moved to digital in 1998. He has worked on a diverse array of business including Diageo, Revlon, US Army, HBO, Delta Airlines and Paramount Pictures.
Tim Trevathan, SVP of Digital Distribution & Business Development:
Tim is the SVP of Publisher Solutions at DBG. He oversees all aspects of digital distribution solutions at DBG, leading both the agency and publisher solutions teams. Tim is in charge of developing and growing non-core revenue streams, specifically publisher sales, content licensing and DBG's CLiP video platform. Prior to DBG, Tim worked at Downtown Media Group, a New York based pop culture publisher and SandboxTV, a video content distribution platform, serving in senior Finance roles for both companies. He holds an MBA from the London School of Business.
Bradley Werner, SVP of Senior Vice President of Production & Series Development:
Bradley Werner, Senior Vice President of Production & Series Development at Digital Broadcasting Group (DBG), has been with the company since its inception in 2008. At DBG, Werner is responsible for supervising production and roll-out of all original programming, branded entertainment and YouTube channel programming. To date, Werner has managed the production of over 80 digital & mobile series (akin to over 600 webisodes). Werner held Supervising Producer roles on Kiefer Sutherland's Webby Award-winning, The Confession as well as Seth Green's 24-7 interactive live web series, ControlTV, a NATPE Award-winner for best Branded Entertainment series. Werner has penned several articles about digital video for iMedia Connection and New Media Rockstars, and he has served on the IAB’s Digital Video Committee, the International Academy of Web Television and is a member-pending of the New Media Council of the Producers Guild of America.
